The Role
Quintessential Governess is seeking an experienced native English speaking Nanny or Governess for a young UHNW family based in Chelsea. The role focuses primarily on the family’s bright nine year old daughter, a creative and engaging child with mild ADHD who thrives with structure, patience, and stimulating guidance.
The ideal candidate has experience supporting children with SEN and can foster both warmth and gentle discipline through trust and consistency. A background in teaching or early education is an advantage, but a genuine passion for child development and emotional intelligence is essential.
She loves ballet and singing, so a Nanny who encourages self expression and confidence through creative interests would be a wonderful fit. She can at times struggle to stay focused on homework, so someone with calm authority, understanding, and positive reinforcement techniques would be ideal.

The role will also involve international and domestic travel, so flexibility and a love of adventure are essential.
You will work within a fully staffed household alongside another rota nanny, also placed by Quintessential Governess, who speaks very highly of the family. The parents are young, kind, and respectful, and they value professionalism, discretion, and reliability.
