Salary: £60,000–£80,000 gross per annum (depending on experience)

Working Hours:
• Term Time: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–9:00 AM and 2:00 PM–8:00 PM
• School Holidays: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
Travel: Occasional international and UK travel required

The Role
An exciting opportunity for a polished, emotionally intelligent Governess to support two bright and engaging daughters aged 6 and 9 in a young, dynamic UHNW household based in Chelsea.
This role is perfect for someone who brings structure, calm authority, and a warm presence to the home. You will work in close partnership with the parents and household staff to ensure both girls are supported academically and emotionally. The family are looking for someone who is highly organised, self-motivated, and proactive—yet sensitive and adaptable to the natural rhythms of family life.

Key Responsibilities
• School drop-off and pick-up
• Homework supervision and academic support
• Encouraging independence, confidence, and emotional awareness
• Wardrobe management and organisation for both children
• Planning and supervising after-school and holiday activities
• Liaising with parents and school staff as needed
• Coordinating appointments, extracurriculars, and playdates
• Occasional travel with the family during school holidays

About the Children
The girls are bright, curious, and full of energy. They respond well to structure and positive encouragement. The right candidate will balance high academic standards with warmth, humour, and emotional intelligence.

Candidate Requirements
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar Governess or educational role
• Confident driver – driving is essential for this role
• Degree-educated with strong academic credentials
• Experience supporting children aged 6–10
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
• Emotionally intelligent, patient, and engaging
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Professional, discreet, and respectful of household privacy
• Enhanced DBS and up-to-date Paediatric First Aid required
